Security Guard Initial Certification Course (Day 1)

Attention:
All first-time applicants are required to complete the 12-hour initial certification course. The course is divided into two 6-hour days, with day one required to be completed before attending day two.
Day 1:
The initial course will be on Tuesday 8:00AM-2:00PM. The class is in-person only. Firearms and weapons of any kind are prohibited in the classroom. Please bring a valid form of identification.
Refund Policy:
Cancellations must be made at least three hours before the scheduled class time to be eligible for a refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than three hours before the class. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements.
This course provides the essential training mandated by the Maryland State Police for all initial security guard license applicants. It is designed to equip you with the fundamental knowledge and skills required to perform the duties of a security guard effectively and lawfully within the state.
